The Ultimate Summer Chill

Sydney's least kept secret, Wattamolla Falls is a super chilled location with an awesome summer vibe about it. A beautiful beach, lagoon, BBQ area and rock jump for the daredevils.

Difficulty:

EASY: 2 minute walk from the carpark of the Wattamollla Picnic area. Parking is extremely limited and on weekends can be a nightmare to secure one. Arrive early, or prepare to wait.

What to Bring:

Water, towel, change of clothes, sunscreen.

Head along Wattamolla Road in the Royal National Park and follow to the Wattamolla picnic area where you'll find a group of carparks. Throughout Summer and especially on weekends, this carpark is particularly busy. We suggest carpooling if travelling with friends and arrive early! *Note that there is usually a $12 entry fee to the National Park.

Take an easy two minute stroll from the carpark and you'll find a beautiful rock face that feeds gentle waterfall into a calm lagoon running towards the ocean. Enjoy the sand between your toes, cook up lunch at the BBQ's and watch the everyday daredevils jump from the rocks. These rocks have been fenced off and signs warn of shallow waters and submerged objects.
