Minnehaha Falls, Blue Mountains NSW

25 Nov 2016 2:23 PM - Directions to Minnehaha Falls

Minnehaha Falls

Yet another hidden gem nestled away in the Blue Mountains. An incredible natural playground where you can relax and soak up some summer sun, fly from a rope swing into the fresh rock pool or test your fear of heights with some wild rock jumps (all rock jumps that we found inherit serious risk of injury or death so we are not allowed to provide directions to these).

EASY: 40 minutes walk each way, clear track, minor obstacles. It is quite a steep path, so be prepared to break a sweat on the ascent back to your car.

What to Bring:

Water, towel, change of clothes, wetsuit (in the cooler months).

At the end of Mini haha road, you will find a circular loop car park to leave your vehicle. There is an obvious trail veered to the left of the carpark, this trail is well maintained and virtually impossible to get lost on. At its steeper points, there is even stairs and railing for safe access.

We couldn't find any submerged objects or particularly shallow water but we highly encourage checking for yourself before jumping into and section of water.
